- We are excited that you are interested in auditioning for Wind Ensemble this year. Below you will find everything you will need to audition for Wind Ensemble auditions for the 2021-2022 school year.
All auditions will be video submissions and will be due April 30th by 11:59pm.
Results will be posted May 14th at the end of the school day.

Audition REQUIREMENTS (record your long tone and scale as one file, the excerpt as another).
1. Long Tone - Play any pitch of your choosing for at least 10 seconds. Show off your best tone quality.
2. Chromatic Scale - Play a chromatic scale from the lowest pitch you feel comfortable playing to the highest pitch you feel comfortable playing. Show off how big your range is, how well you can tune individual notes, and how well you know your fingerings.
3. Audition Excerpt - Video record yourself playing the audition excerpt for your instrument. Show off that you have what it takes to learn a piece of music outside of rehearsal. Find your excerpt below. There are also recordings of the excerpts for reference. Once prepared, record your video, fill out the form below and attach your video or link.
